Versatile Processing operations are housed inside two 54,000 sq. ft. buildings surrounded by 16 acres. This location, previously farmland, was chosen for the clean working environment and its room for expansion. Both buildings have forty-two foot high ceilings and are made with steel construction. A strong concrete base was poured on top of eighteen inches of rock to ensure a sound base for the heavy equipment used.
VPI uses a high efficiency mechanical process to shred, granulate and separate copper, aluminum, and steel from plastic, paper or other insulators used in making wire and cable. Advanced automation and specific design layout of our equipment permits us to service the utility, wire manufacturing, telecommunications and scrap industries. A certified truck scale is used to insure accurate weights are used for every inbound and outbound shipment.
One building is dedicated to the sortation and grading of materials received. Utility companies utilize this service as it reduces labor for them and increases the return by capturing the value of all products contained in the mixed metal. Once sorted, materials are staged for production in the manufacturing building. The integrity of each customers material is insured by the use of a "lot based" system that separates each customer throughout the entire process.

Florida Transformer, Inc. is located in North Walton County. The plant facility consists of over 100,000 square feet of covered work area and currently utilizes approximately 10 acres of the 50 acre tract of land it is situated on.
Florida Transformer is a premier transformer and electrical equipment facility that is capable of repairing and recycling transformers of all sizes, regulators, reclosers, and control panels. In addition to the extensive repair services offered, Florida Transformers is also an EPA licensed disposal facility for PCB-Contaminated Equipment ranging from 50 PPM to 499 PPM.
Florida Transformer is also equipped with its own laboratory for PCB analysis which enables us to offer reliable results with the quickest turnaround in the business.

Utility Recycling Services is a privately held company that specializes in the decommissioning and recycling of scrap materials within the utility industry. Our facility is housed in a 100,000 square foot building on 15 acres in Wills Point, Texas, only 45 miles east of Dallas.
URS is dedicated to the disposal services of transformers and related items such as capacitors, OCB's, and switchgears. Our process ensures that all materials received into our facility are safely dismantled for recycling in an environmentally responsible manner.
Our metals recycling program is specifically designed to meet your company's individual operational needs and maximizes the value of each type of material received for sorting and processing. The processes URS developed for handling metals received from utility companies is continually being refined and utilizes over 150 years of combined experience from our management team. Our goal is to be your partner by providing you with the highest value possible for retired assets.

Transformer Decommissioning Inc. is a privately held company that provides services such as transformer testing, repair, and decommissioning. In addition, TDI provides on-site services including substation teardown, bulk oil, on-site sampling, and inventory management. We developed strategic alliance relationships that give us the ability to offer a total package service to our customers.
Our plant operations are located in Nabb, Indiana, just 35 miles North of Louisville. This location includes 35,000 square feet of state-of-the-art processing and 14 acres of land. The facility meets or exceeds all EPA and state environmental requirements.
Transportation includes both internal and external carriers. Both flatbed and van trailers with containment are used. Haz-Mat containers are also used when necessary. Our goal is to be your partner by providing you with solutions to your constantly changing needs in today's business climate.
